Sony FX6
The Sony FX6 is a compact, full-frame cinema camera that delivers exceptional image quality, impressive low-light performance, and a flexible, lightweight design that’s perfect for real-world production environments. As a camera operator, I rely on the FX6 for its reliability, fast and accurate ergonomics, and its wide dynamic range, which allows me to focus on storytelling rather than technical limitations. Whether I’m working handheld, on a gimbal, or in controlled studio setups, the FX6 adapts seamlessly to my workflow, giving me the confidence to capture clean, cinematic images efficiently and consistently across a wide range of projects.
Sony FX30
I own a Sony FX30 alongside my Sony FX6, and I use them for very different purposes. The FX30 is my compact, nimble setup—perfect for handheld shooting, travel, gimbal work, or situations where I want to stay lightweight and unobtrusive while still getting a cinematic image. The FX30 shines as a flexible B-cam or a creative tool that lets me move fast or shoot in situations where a bigger camera isn’t an option without compromising image quality.
17" Directors Monitor
My TVLogic 17″ director’s/client monitor is a reliable on-set hub that keeps everyone aligned in real time, from director to clients. Its crisp, color-accurate display makes it easy to evaluate framing, focus, and exposure at a glance, while the dual SDI inputs and HDMI input give me flexible connectivity with a wide range of cameras and playback sources. When configured with the optional 4-camera multiviewer system, it becomes even more powerful, allowing multiple angles to be monitored simultaneously on a single screen.
Mars 4k Wireless
The Hollyland Mars 4K wireless system gives me a clean, reliable way to send video wirelessly to my 17″ director’s monitor—or virtually any other monitor on set—without being tethered by cables. With low-latency 4K transmission and a strong, stable signal, it allows directors, clients, and crew to view the shot in real time from wherever they need to be. This flexibility keeps the set moving efficiently, supports better collaboration, and makes it easy to adapt to different monitoring setups without compromising image quality or workflow.
Lighting & Grip Kit
My in-house lighting and grip kit is designed for flexible, professional production, featuring Aputure 600x/600d and 300x/300d fixtures for powerful, color-accurate control. It’s complemented by FalconEyes 24TDXII and Amaran LED panels, plus a Nanlite PavoTube 6-light kit for creative accents and soft fills. Included in the kit is a range of modifiers and textiles.
Additionally I have good options within my grip kit including Jnr Boom Stands, C-Stands, Cardellini Clamps, Superclamps and more.
SE-PRO Headsets
The Hollyland SE Pro headsets are a huge asset on set because they provide clear, reliable communication without slowing down the workflow. Wireless communication allows the entire crew to talk simultaneously, which cuts down on confusion and keeps production moving efficiently. The headsets are lightweight and comfortable for long shooting days, and the noise-reduction helps conversations stay intelligible even in loud environments. Autocue/teleprompter
I own a professional teleprompter system that’s designed to help people speak confidently and naturally on camera, whether they’re delivering a script, key talking points, or longer-form content. It allows presenters to maintain direct eye contact with the lens while staying on message. I offer the teleprompter as part of my equipment packages, making it easy for clients to elevate the quality of their videos without added stress or complicated setups.
SOLIX 1800w Battery
My Anker SOLIX 1800W battery has become an essential piece of kit on set, giving me reliable, portable power wherever I need it. It easily handles lighting setups, monitors, and charging stations, which means I’m not tied to wall outlets or noisy generators when working on location. Having that kind of dependable, all-in-one power source lets the crew stay flexible, efficient, and focused on the shoot instead of worrying about power.
It even powers the coffee machine 😉
DJI Mini 3
My DJI Mini 3 is a powerful tool that helps me deliver high-quality drone video services in a compact, reliable package. Its lightweight design makes it easy to deploy quickly and legally in many locations, while still capturing sharp, smooth 4K footage that looks professional and cinematic. The stable flight performance, strong wind resistance for its size, and intelligent features like precise GPS hovering and automated shooting modes allow me to focus on creativity instead of controls.
